hahahahahahahhahahahaha.
chem was such an epic failure but it was so much fun.
and i swear sitting first in line is such a pain because you can't continue colouring in whatever they call those oval thingums when they tell you to put down your pen. think like, this teacher standing right in front of you when mr george chong says time's up. and i'm just holding my pencil trying to make an intelligent guess and at least shade in one out of the four. 25% chance right? then i look up and see the teacher watching me. then i look down at the paper. then i look at the teacher again. then i give the can you at least pretend you're looking in the other direction look. then i sense failure because he continues looking at me.
then i give up and put down my pencil and try calculating if i can pass.
roarrrrrrr.
on hindsight, i should have tried the point finger and go "omg what's that!" method. just think, 25% chance of getting 1 mark more. or was it 2?
and the best thing that happened was that i got some brain freeze during paper 2 (haha a levels, haha. thank God i'm not taking you.)so i looked at this question that went like, something about application on how graphite and buckyball can be used to make nanotubes or something along that line, and this picture of graphite being the sides of the tubes and the rounded base being the buckyball just popped out in my head, and i thought boy this question is ridiculous. so i left it blank. i mean, 2 marks only. not worth trying to describe the picture that was in my head and get laughed at by venthan and risk a meeting with my parents at the next ptm. then i left a few other 2 marks questions blank thinking no big deal can always come back to it later if i'd the time.
okay it's quite obvious what happened. luh.
roarrrrrr. but haha so fun. i could finally go shopping for pens to make my pretty cards without feeling bad. i reallly, really think i should sell gifts for a living. make cards, make bookmarks, do photo albums, make mini guitars. i want my mini guitar back it's so chio! & i hope it's still surviving after handover! :/ sighhee. omg i could travel and get ideas from all over the world and come back and make very cool handicraft. yeahhhh. sounds like a plan.
(:
but for now, back to watching ..whatever my mom's watching :D

please don't let me screw up chem the way i screwed up bio!
how could i have not finished the paper.
when i knew everything. everysinglebloodything.
when everything i mugged came out.
AHHHHH. ahhhhh. AHHHH. AHHHH. AHHHHHHH.
this is how exams suck the joy out of studying. they make it seem as though studying so hard isnt worth it because the limiting factor is the ability of the hand to write quickly and legibly and not the tons and tons of awesome stuff you mugged but all the teacher sees is whatever you managed to write down. and bio is still schtuck in my head. apparently my brain cells weren't lysed, as previously speculated.
anyway was clearing my inbox when i came across this prayer request that i sent to my ydg group when i first came to ib, and it made me ashamed because on hindsight i had so many opportunities to do just that, but i didn't, and here i am wondering how looking for a cell group has become one of my last priorities. it just baffles me how i can see the importance of something so clearly and yet neglect it so completely and something like 2 months has just gone by and i haven't done anything since i left ykg.
"..pray that I will continue to always find time to spend time alone with God admist my hectic schedule, and pray that I will not lose sight of my ultimate purpose of studying hard, that is, to glorify Him in the process as others see His strength carrying me through, and to ultimately yield my knowledge and gifts for His use, to serve others and bring non-Christian friends to Christ. Also pray that I will be able to grow spiritually so that I can guide other younger Christians in church to grow in the way of the Lord."
really, what happened. and there's just so much to be done, but right now i'm just so damn lazy to try.

i am here, because i am so. ultra. bored.
bored.
bored.
really, really bored.
and english was screwed over i was sleeping while writing thank goodness i finally realised that seamus heaney was writing from the pov of a female. to think i spent 10 minutes looking for 'the wife' in the blasted poem. well at least i kinddddof interpreted it correctly. but i bet my structure sucked and i'll probably get penalized for handwriting. ughh.
to help things, i have a headache and a sore throat.
to help my sore throat along, my mom cooked fried fish for dinner.
mwahaha this is completely random and i am distracted by everything. like really, everything. like my hamster and new shoes. and listening to beethoven's piano sonata no. 14/moonlight sonata (presto agitato) for the 6th time in a row. and while i thought i got distracted by english songs only, i just realised i'm even more distracted by classical music. £$%^%&*%("$%!
and msn is down. again. for the gazillionth time. i have this feeling i offended quite a lot of people cos people keep asking me why i'm ignoring them on msn when i haven't gone online in the what. past 1 month. save those 2 minutes sign-ins, after which msn pops up with this tinsy little window that tells me it has incurred an error. dmn right you've incurred an error. then again, fair enough, no distractions. (:
okay seriously, back to mugging.
point to note: 5TH JULY REVERBERE III 7.30pm RJC! hahahah can't wait i bet it's gonna be awesome. even though they're playing the sameee pieces (why are yall playing the same pieces) just with fewer people. but yay to tango en skai, streets of london, and classical gas :D and not forgetting, the very, very, overplayed the entertainer. hmm what happened to our junior ensemble! ): and hahaha i see mr chua added in a lot of cheena songs. then again, i trust his taste :D pity yall didn't do bach! (or was i the only one who genuinely thought it was nice? :/) roar but yeaaapp cant wait even better still is dinner with dora gracia vanessa yingjie! <33
okay REALLY, back to mugging.
shudders.
i'll leave my post on the difference between studying and mugging for another time then.
taaaa.

and i waste time doing all these stupid things because i want to treasure every moment and not let it slip away.
this whole thing, about becoming conscious that time is running out fast, that no matter how hard you try to hold on to, to savour every second, it always ends so fast, whether you want to believe it or not. and those who don't believe it, even after it's ended, find that it's hard, it's so hard to believe it's over and we're back to life. the boring one. and there is this transitional state, whereby you're stuck between the two worlds and readjusting is just so damned difficult. and a part of you just doesn't want to go back at all.
it doesn't really start now. it started a long time ago, when we were kids and we cried when camps were over and we found we didn't really want to go home after all, no matter how we seemed to be wasting our lives away and no matter how lousy the programme was. when we cried because we missed the group breakfasts lunches dinners and post-camp gatherings could never suffice to bring back that feeling. it started a long time ago, when we would add everyone in our group on msn only to find a few months, a year later that it was pointless because friends had faded into acquaintances and then to, nothing.
at least we had that moment to remember. and at least we enjoyed it then.
morning is waking up
and sometimes it's more than just enough
when all that you need to love
is in front of your eyes.
it's just so hard to remember that sometimes.
so it's off to malaysia till friday for me, then i'm back to the muggerfest that is so long overdue.
