things to do by today 6 pm:
1. chem assessed prac.
2. revamp ee proposal
3. redo iop script
4. chinese oral
5. make joelynn's card

sometimes i wish i had insomnia so i wouldn't need to sleep ):
stayed in school on friday to do the bloody chem prac till 5, napped from 9-10, slept at 2, set alarm to 4am and woke up at 5.54, fell asleep standing while waiting for julio and his 4 hugee bags of rj notes from 10.55 to 11.15, and now counting down the hours left to do ee proposal.

BUT AFTER THIS WEEK I WILL BE FREEEEEEEE.

yeah right. still need to contact raffles essential oils for those 4 measly 10ml bottles of citrus EOs. i feel like squishing ee and pounding it up into a sad puddle of pulp. silly thing wipes out like 60% of my savings.

HIS GRACE IS SUFFICIENT FOR ME.

JIAYOUJIAYOUJIAYOU.

ahhh so tempted to not have tennis tmr. roar i hope it rains. :D

past few days have been so dreary, it's not that it's particularly stressful, in fact i seem to be balancing everything pretty fine. i've even had time to flip through campbell to make me feel that i really like bio. but somehow everything's just passing by in a daze. it's not that i'm unhappy, i really am, it's just that i'm waiting for something to happen, and whenever i think this or that is gonna be the moment i've been waiting for, it just doesn't happen. things never really turn out the way they do in your daydreams; well, at least that's the way it is for me.

i don't want to be reduced to randomly surfing blogs, looking through facebook photos and profiles, rumaging through clothes and practising the same pieces over and over again. well, yeah it's disciplined, it's rigid, i'm in the routine and therefore i have the bonus of not having to submit a timetable to sir, i'm on task blahblahblah. isn't there anything more, anything better than this? or is it just me, getting tired of things too easily?

anyway, what transpired while i was away from here:

1. kl with mom and dad:

the awesomme food at colossium. :D

ended up studying at starbucks. D: yes, i studied on my holiday. ):

2. muggerfest + lots and lots of tea and cakes. this is how i explain my shocking increase in weight ughhh.

my table ><

yep i finished like 4 boxes of peach and mango, and camomile tea :/ at least not coffee anymore right! :D

3. results! :D

was expecting a 7 for bio since i mugged so much for it, turns out chem (unexpectedly) ended up saving my ass. english was a surprise, i thought i screwed it up with my 2-paged half-written essay but ended up getting a 19 (yayyy :D), and econs a shock for essay but surprise for drq, so i guessed it pretty much balanced out. chinese was the best luh. :D didn't study at all, ended up getting a score i would have only been able to get in primary school. which actually says something about the standard of chinese b.. :i nonetheless, i guess the points don't really matter at all, since most of my marks were pretty undeserved, all i can say is that i got by by God's grace. that the examiners actually thought my scripts were coherent when i thought i was rambling. that i managed to get 23/30 for chem yet missing out 3 questions. that i got 17/20 for econs drq even though i misinterpreted the flight duty. it's quite amazing, the way things turned out, but it's also a sign that i'd better work on thinking quickly under exam conditions. UGHH. looks like i can't run from major exams huhh. rawrrr.

yay. in marissa's words, "you prc scholar!" :D somehow that was a very big compliment. (:

"If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind."

Wiersbe said on James that if we're gonna turn trials into triumphs, we must count, know, let, and ask. that means, when we count, we evaluate our trials in light of what God is doing for us, and that's how we have joy in the midst of trials. then we know by understanding what trials will do in us and for us, by realising that God has a purpose in trials and that He fulfills His purpose as we trust Him. and then comes letting, surrending and submitting ourselves to God's will. God's gotta work in us before He can work through us, and for Him to do that we've got to surrender our wills, our wants, our goals. and finally we've got to ask and believe. not just for strength, or grace, or deliverance. because we need wisdom so we wont waste the opportunities God's giving us to mature, and it helps us understand how to use trying circumstances for our good and God's glory.

and love is the force behind all this, because if i love God and i know that God loves me, i won't fall apart when trials come.

so this is how i will stand strong when things are falling apart. this is how i will keep on trying and not despair and not give up and not question Him even when i dont know why this is happening, when everything i've done seems wasted and i dont know if i can do it again, when i'm just scared of making another mistake, when i dont even know what i want. when i'm just waiting and waiting for the answer to come and i dont know if it already has. because i'm afraid of not knowing what is it i want, and i'm afraid that when i find out it'll be too late. and i am constrained by time, confined by your expectations and your dreams, but i cannot break out of it because i don't know what else i would do.

but i will make it through, and not be discouraged because He has blessed me so much i cant ever ask for more. i count my blessings every day and it is so amazing what i have. so i can i will i must, just like i always do.

it's just that it's so tempting to sit back and screw it all.
